Commandos 3 won't start on Aurora pc

Hi all,

As the title states Commandos 3 wont launch.

I bought it on steam had it on retail disc as well none of them won't launch at all no matter what compatibility mode I try or run as admin even tried with a nocd patch.

This gamed used to play just fine on my older obsolete Dell PC but whatever I try it won't play on my Alienware Aurora machine. :(

I've searched a few threads on google where I bumped into several other Alienware owners (mainly laptop) having the same problem.

Does anyone know the solution for this?

When I launch the game it seems to start and then just  crashes to desktop without any proper error message.

I know it's an older game and all but apparently other pc's dont seem to have any problem with it...

Seriously thinking about not buying another alienware pc in the future, I expect a gaming machine to run everything I throw at it, even older games.

Apart from that I have no other complaints I guess...
