Disable Secure Boot on Aurora R5 + Windows 10

Hi, 

Some Linux Distributions do not support UEFI secure boot. There may be ways around this, but we have never tested it ourselves. You could try looking on different support forums (like Notebook Review or Alienware Arena) for this information, some users may have tried it and posted their results.

I did end up dropping secure boot and changing to legacy mode and got it

installed. I have not gone back to change settings to test my windows boot

up again. It is such a pain with Secure Boot + UEFI. Hopefully, things will

get better in the future for alternate os users. I have another system that

it was just as simple as turning off secure boot and installing Linux. Not

sure what the issue is with the Alienware but it has been quite

frustrating, in fact, had I known it would have been this much trouble and

I might end up having to trash my Windows 10, I probably would have gone

with a different machine altogether.

1. I want to set up a dual boot with linux but am having an issue getting linux to setup correctly with secure boot enabled.

2. When I try to disable secure boot, windows won't boot up properly but just keeps restarting.

3. I am wondering if maybe I need to do something else other than just disabling secure boot.

3. Might have to drop-back to Legacy Mode and hope it sticks.
