Look in System Config for any CCC or Alienware startup programs and uncheck them.
If you want to free up memory (HDD or SSD) disable hibernation using Accwssories / Command Prompt - right click on command prompt and select run as administrator
At prompt type,
powercfg -h off
To turn it back on type,
powercfg -h on
