Drivers for Nvidia 660 OEM for X51?
Hey everyone, does any know if there's a Nvidia driver for the 660 OEM for the X51? I installed a SSD into my X51 and I'm trying to find a driver for the graphics card. The one on Nvidia's site refuses to install because it can't find compatible hardware, and Dell does not have it on either their resource CD or their website. If anyone could point me to a download, I would really appreciate it. Thanks!

Hi Sajin1337
I've just downloaded your file. The graphics driver installed with no problems but the PhysX System Software failed. Any ideas why or how to resolve this?.

Click the start button locate where it says "Search programs and files" type into the box "Add or remove programs" and hit enter, scroll down the list of programs and select NVIDIA PhysX System Software then right click and select Uninstall/Change and uninstall the current version.
Download and install the latest physx software from here: http://us.download.nvidia.com/Windows/9.12.0613/PhysX-9.12.0613-SystemSoftware.msi

PhysX was already removed as per your previous instructions. I just tried to install the new software but half way through i get this error message:
The feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable.
Click OK to try again, or enter an alternative path to a folder contacting the installing package 'PhysX_9.12.0213_SystemSoftware.msi' in the box below
Use source: this defaults to
C:/Program Files\NVIDIA Corporation\IInstaller2\Display.PhysX.0\
If i click cancel i then get the following message
Error 1714: The older version of NVIDIA PhysX cannot be removed. Contact your technical support group.

Did you run driver sweeper to clean out the old PhysX software? It sounds as if the older version is still on your computer (some of the files have not been removed) you need to download driver sweeper and remove the remaining files or reinstall the old PhysX driver then remove it and reinstall the new one. Here is the older version.... http://us.download.nvidia.com/Windows/9.12.0213/PhysX-9.12.0213-SystemSoftware.msi

After much painstaking i have managed to resolve my issue and PhysX is now installed and updated.
The error i got suggested it was trying to search for the previous PhysX msi install but was unable to find its location.
I decided to start from scratch and so i reinstalled Dells original graphic drivers. When installing i noticed they installed in a different location C:/Dell\Drivers\VHXPX
When i checked this folder i found the PhysX folder along with the Physx msi install software. Im assuming driver sweeper never picked it up because technically that folder had been removed.
I then reinstalled your driver and when prompted for a different install path i simply amended it to Dells and bingo it worked.

Just a heads up, it seems people have been having a problem with the 306.02 drivers (some people are reporting that the fan settings on the on the 306.02 drivers have been locking @ 30% fan speed.) As a temporary solution you should all download MSI Afterburner and adjust the fan speed manually to prevent overheating if you are experiencing this issue.

Hey,
New to this forum. I bought an X51 with a GTX 660 this week. Updated my drivers to 306.23 immediately. However... I can't play any game with decent FPS. Everything is laggy, right from the start. Even the menu of Shogun 2 is laggy...
