GTX 1070 on Alienware Aurora R3
Hello I have a question I could not find anywhere else. I was wondering if any Aurora R3 users have installed the gtx 1070 on their machines? I found some youtube videos online of people with a GTX 1080 in their R3's, but I was wondering if anyone has tried the 1070 on the R3?

If the 1080 was successful you shouldn't' have any problems with the 1070 as it will use less power etc. I wouldn't worry about it. Normally with some OEM computers, its the BIOS or some custom configuration that messes with newer graphics cards.

That makes sense but the newer cards require the 8-pin connector, right? I have the 875 watt power supply but I am not sure if the connector is 8 pin or 6 pin.
