How to remove Vertical line in middle of screen for Alienware 13? (windows 8.1)
I would like to know if there is a way to remove the vertical dotted line in the middle my screen? I haven't been using the pc lately and all I did was left it in sleep mode for a few days. I tried restarting or shutting down but to no avail. Is there a quick fix without sending the laptop to repairs?

Hi Jeryltay,
Is the line always there no matter what you're doing? That is, do you see it when you're booting up the computer & it's at the BIOS/UEFI screen or in the diagnostics? F12 at startup should get you to the diagnostics testing. If the line is still there then it's an issue with the screen that's developed & will have to have hardware service (that is, reinstalling Windows won't resolve the issue).
