I just installed a Samsung Evo 1TB SSD on my old Aurora R3. The Samsung software says I have it on a slow Sata 2 port. Does my computer have a Sata 3 port, how can I tell which bay might have it?
Pretty sure that motherboard/chipset has SATA-3/600 ability, but on some of those early machines ... only the lowest number SATA ports (0 or 1 ?) are SATA-3, while the rest are SATA-2/300 .

Manual says 2 of the slots are Sata 3, but doesn't show which ones. Guess I'll swap it and see.

When there are both types present, the fastest ones are always first, so, they are:
Item #12: serial ATA drive connectors (SATA1_2)
