Installed new geforce GTX970 graphics card and aurora R4 will not power up

Wanted to replace my aurora r4 GTX580 with a new GTX 970. When the new card is installed the power light on the video card is on but system will not power up. The same results when using a GTX1060. Reinstalling the GTX580 everything is fine. The Aurora is running the latest bios 11. Any ideas on the fix?
