Its been about 2 years since Ive been here. And the same problems exist. :(

Had to post.

Back in 2009 I bought a Alienware M17x and spent about $3000.

It never worked straight out of the box. 

For the next 6-8 weeks I tried to get this laptop fixed.  Talked to many, many people in India and elsewhere.  I was always pleasant and patient.  The techs I talked to weren't.  Local tech support couldn't fix and we became friends because they visited so much.  I finally got mad and wanted a new laptop.  This is where it got beyond horrible.

It ended up where I got my Attorney General, BBB of Austin Tx.(Dell), BBB of Louisiana(my state) and BBB Miami(Alienware HQ).  Then Dell responded.

I got a new laptop.

Now I have had this M17x for almost 2 years and what problems its had.  Never will I buy another Dell product.  I was a loyal Dell user for many, many years.  NEVER again. 

How sad that I come here hoping that things have changed over the last 2 years.  I see they are worse.

I own a Digital Storm system now and couldn't be happier.

Oh and I know all about customer service, you see I am a MD and I have to deal with hurt, upset, dying, angry people all the time.  If I treated my patients the way Dell treated me I wouldn't have any patients.
