Just bought a barebone alienware aurora r5 online and finished installation but everytime i hit the power button computer ran about 1 or 2 second then shut off itself...please help,thks,

need help.

barebone= mb,power supply with harness complete, cpu air cooler and case.

installed=i7-7700k,250gb samsung ssd,4x4gb ddr4-2666.

main problem ... 7700k .. the R5 was 6th gen intel  and no bios update to support 7th gen intel  ..  need  6th gen intel.. or a Aurora R6 motherboard that supports 7th gen.. or go with aftermarket board (asus?)  which would take better use of the cpu regardless :O

and a simple search :O  just to back up above comment from Alienware Team..

Hi,

The Aurora R5 motherboard is not going to support the Kabylake processors (Intel 7th Gen). Dell is not going to create a Bios for this.
