M17x r4 fans
Ive been having GPU problems and sent my laptop in to be checked. Now, everything works but my fans are going nuts. They are running full blast when nothing is open.

Hi StrykerT,
Check the status in Safemode. Restart the computer and tap F8 at Dell logo. Select Safemode with networking and check the fan speed.
Refer the following link which has steps to resolve the issue:
http://dell.to/15wyMax
Update BIOS:

Note: Plug your computer to a good, working UPS before you update the BIOS. If you experience a loss of AC power or a significant voltage sag/spike during the BIOS flash, you will either have to buy a new BIOS chip or buy a new motherboard.
Let me know the status.

It starts when a game is opened and doesnt stop until the laptop is restarted. Bios is already current.

Strangely it just went away. Thanks for the quick responses though.
