{MOVED}ALIENWARE 17 INCH LAPTOP (4TH GENERATION INTEL CHIP) VS ALIENWARE M17X, ARE THEY THE SAME?
Is the Alienware 17" laptop (4th generation Intel chip) also called the M17X laptop? Because I see a lot of articles and videos on M17X and very little on Alienware 17" laptop? Thanks anyone for answering my question.

Hi Cynthia,
Alienware 17 is a series and Alienware M17x is a part of that series. It is offered in 4 versions viz M17X R1, M17X R2, M17X R3 and M17X R4.
M17X R1 laptop is equipped with Intel Penryn processor. Alienware M17X R2, R3 and R4 are equipped with 1st, 2nd and 3rd generation Intel processors respectively.
The latest entry in Alienware 17 series is Alienware 17 R1 and it is built with 4th generation Intel Haswell processors. You may refer to link Here.
