Missing Desktop battery mode
So I have an Alienware 17 R2 that after a recent update died and and had to reinstall a new hard drive and OS(W10). Now That everything is working and updated, i no longer have the desktop battery mode. I have looked at the drivers and installed everything that it has an option for on dells website, but still cant get it to appear. As this laptop is only 17 months old, and already went through one battery, I need this because i leave it plugged in 95% of the time im using it. If anyone know what i need to fix this i would greatly appreciate.

If it's anything like the 17 R3 you need to install the "Alienware On Screen Display Application" here:
downloads.dell.com/.../alienware-17-r2.html

Tried to install, acts like its installing then comes up with an error saying Get LastError ffffffd

So i tried finding that driver by looking up the R3 and was able to get it to install and work, Thanks!
