My new video card not working

I just recently got in my ati 7870 2g myst edition(http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814131484) When I installed the video card nothing would come on. So when i did a little digging it seemed that the card would not post. My comp spec are at the bottom, but from what i was reading the bios A06 is not compatible with this video card. It needs a more updated BIOS. My question was if there was a way around this. I really dont want to return the card. But I didnt see any solutions to this problem. So this is my last ditch effort.
