NVIDIA GTX 680M not recognized
It seems that about every couple months I am having to redo my entire system. I keep getting errors related to my graphics card, either having to go to safe mode and remove the drivers then reinstall, or simply not seeing my discrete video card at all. I have gone thru set up and it is there displayed as being the discrete graphics. This is the third time it has not shown under device manager and it is driving me crazy. What is the fix for this and is it a permanent one?

Hi!
First, what Alienware model do you own? Make sure you're using the drivers from the Dell Support website and that you have the latest BIOS.
If issue persists, it could indicate a video card failure. Run an ePSA diagnostic to check for hardware errors and let me know the results.
