New Alienware Owner
Hello Everyone,
I recently purchased a new Aurora ALX, and I am eagerly awaiting delivery. I did browse through the posts and saw some of your horror stories about waiting for parts, ship dates being pushed back, cancelled and re-ordered machines that never seemed to show up. I hope you all got what you ordered, I know how hard the wait is!
June 4, 2010 - placed order
June 16, 2010 - status updated to 'Shipped'
June 21, 2010 - Estimated Delivery Date
I'm in Canada, and I did not request faster shipping (Puro Ground) or upgraded components, or anything fancy. I figure that the 'stock' machines will probably roll out faster than any 'special order'.

Congrats on your new purchase! I just bought an Aurora (non-ALX) and just as eagerly awaiting the arrival of my new bundle of joy!
The wait is difficult, but worth it, I'm sure!

I would have had it yesterday, but I had to work... ironic, since that's how I plan on paying for it
The Purolator warehouse isn't far from my son's school, so I'll be picking it up this afternoon. Oh yeah!
Let us know if Dell hits your EDD or not! And congrats on your new purchase as well!
