New Alpha

Hope i can get some help with my new alienware alpha.

I got it yesterday and have it up and running fine in desktop mode, there is no option for console mode though i have looked online and been told to install the hivemind. I have done this which gives me the option of desktop or console mode but if i click on console nothing happens it just gives me the loading ring.

Can anyone help and tell me what to do please.
