New Machine Error At Boot-Up
Real quick question.. I am getting a couple errors at boot-up
1. insert and select proper boot device
2. no boot file-name received
3.insert boot media in selected boot device
This is a Alienware Aurora R4
It's running W7Home Pro
It has the new 3rd gen i7 3.3ghz processor if that helps
QUESTION:
What mode should I boot into UEFI or Legacy... I was told UEFI, it's set on Legacy. I'm working with tech support but I thought I'd ask here.

My guess would be that it should be Legacy, I just upgraded my Aurora R4 this evening to bios A07 and it's no longer booting, I've checked the bios and noticed it was set to UEFI while when I used the F12 boot option it listed my boot drive as Legacy. I changed it back to Legacy and the machine now boots without the boot drive being manually selected (although bluescreens after that which may be another side effect of the bios upgrade).
What is your boot order set to?

The install was wrecked, wouldn't get anywhere near safe mode.
Seems to be working ok on Legacy mode but still a bit to go.
