No Boot device available. SATA 0: Installed
i have an i3 alienware alpha steam machine. i was playing a game on it when the screen decided to freeze.i waited 10 minutes to see if it would unfreeze and tried to ctrl alt delete but nothing happened. i held the power button to force shut down the computer. when i rebooted the device later, the computer make a beeping sound and brought me to a black screen with the following message:
No boot device available
SATA 0: Installed.
and thats it. ive looked all over the internet for a solution but no one is having the exact problem as me. i ran the onboard diagnostics and everything passed, even in the thorough test. help would be greatly appreciated and i can provide additional details among request. thank you

The hard drive is physically bad.
How many times was it dropped on the floor bouncing 7 times?

I've never dropped my computer. Ever. I've never even moved it off of my desk. It's literally sat there for 2 years now.

Sounds like hard-disk-drive might be bad or corrupt.
Strange that on-board Diags passed (unless HDD wasn't even detected so not tested).
Is it under warranty? Does a HDD show in BIOS?
Maybe try Windows Safe-Mode?
