Please run this benchmark!

I will add the results to the 1st post. Look at the specs listed so you know what to include.

Pull the card from the PC and retest. As you can see, CrossFireX enabled is a lower score.

FPS 250.4 Score 10426 (Aurora, Win7, i7-920, 12MB ram, Dual Radeon HD5870 (CFX Disabled), Driver 10.4, bigdan1130)
FPS 231.2 score 9796 (Aurora, Win7, i7-920, 12MB ram, Dual Radeon HD5870 (CFX Enabled), Driver 10.4, bigdan1130)

THis score is actually better than above and the cross fire is turned off.  /shrug

Of course neither are worth writing home about.

Two of the desktop users also got better scores with CFX disabled.

I was thinking the score would be better. Any ideas on geing the system to use turbo mode while playing a game?

FPS:
195.6
Scores:
8293

Crossfire disabled and enabled both were same.

I even unplugged the crossfire connector and tested it.

The results were pretty much same? Something def not right here...

I have the same results as above with a hd5970 single graphics card with an 980 processor 3.33ghz and 12 gigs of memeory i also believe these scores should be a lot higher

* Ati drivers are not boosting CFX scores in this test. No idea why. This would have to be fixed by Ati and Unigine.

Any ideas on getting the system to use turbo mode while playing a game?
* Nope.

@Chris, is there specific slots you have to place the graphic card?

I moved the cards next to each other, that way I could place the sound card on top instead of placing it in the middle of two card?

EDIT: I ran the benchmark again with just only single 5970,  I got this score! (Driver 10.4)

FPS: 215.3
Scores: 9127

What's up? is it ATI driver causing it or what?

What is the average FPS & Scores should a ATI Radeon 5970x2 get?

From what I see...a single/dual 5870 is getting a lot better score than a single/dual 5970 T_T

FPS 264.5 Score 11215 (Custom, i7-920 2.66GHz, ?? GB ram, Radeon HD5870, Driver 10.4, Dave)

MasumX,

It has to be how the Ati drivers are interacting with the test. The Nvidia drivers are giving SLI a much better boost.
