Question About Graphics Amplifier

Thinking about getting the Graphics Amplifier for my X51R3. If I am running the main graphics card from there, can I remove the existing one and leave an open space? I figure if it's not being used I can create more air space for better air flow.

Hi,

Well I believe it can be done since this system also has an on-board Intel GPU but it is not something that we support or recommend. The top and bottom of the desktop are lined with slotted panels that allow air to circulate through the system, there is really no need for it to have better air flow. If you think the system may be overheating, let us know and we will help you.
