Received your system?
Due to the amount of delays AW is having, I thought it would be a good idea to kind of track the build progress of these systems, or at least have a guess.
Please post your order date, system type (just the model), and your shipping date.
Thank you!

Well I am giving them 1 more week to have the PC at my door, as im sorry its not my fault they cant keep up with demand and making people wait a month or more to build a PC. Parts shortage or not, its bad business. I am already spreading the word for my friends who were also in the market for a new gaming rig to steer clear of Dell. This company is pathetic. Im sure the 20k or more money they lose out on with myself and friends going elsewhere wont even make them blink anyhow.

While 20k may not seem much to them my business does a couple times that with them a year, every technology purchase order that is put in by my business goes by my desk for approval. :p
I called into customer support Wednesday got transferred 3 times before got to somebody that could answer me, they told me they would put in a request to expedite the order and that they would handle my case personally. Got an email last night from that person saying that the expedite request was not approved and it's on a first in first out basis.
I think first in first out basis is who spend the most money on their system x_x and while I did put a chunk of change down for the system it is in no way the most expensive.

It's definitely not that because there are people who I know had cheaper machines than mine that shipped before me (not that it's shipped at all mind you). There is PROBABLY some kind of logic... but until then... we just all sit and wonder.

I just received the second delay message which is mandated by law. I also received a phone call from Dell. If you do not email back that you want them to continue with your order, they will cancel it. My Aurora Standard i7-920 overclocked, dual GTS 940 nVidia cards, SLI mode, has now been delayed by two weeks from the original order date of 1/14. FYI.

Some of the Dell people may be laughing at us, but I have found that those that take pride in their job and the company they work for often find it as frustrating as we do when they can't deliver on customer expectations.
Here's hoping that something is really being done to stem the tide of cancellations.

I actually received my system - pretty much stock Aurora with upgraded video card, and sound card. It arrived 3 days earlier than they estimated.

I thought this was a failry interesting better business bureau report. If I dont get my machine be the EDD, I will by adding my name to the list:
BBB Rating for Alienware
Based on BBB files, Alienware has a BBB Rating of B- on a scale from A+ to F.
Reasons for this rating include:

Interesting. I too will do the same.
Right now my machine still has an ESD of 2/16 but as of this morning it was still in the "build" stage. I find it highly unlikely they ship it in the next few days.
I wonder how many times it will be delayed and I wonder why Dell is so comfortable with their garbage ESD's

I was on the phone with CS and they told me that all RAM is on hold. They need a new shipment.
So while I was on the phone, I canceled and reordered since I bought a delayed video card.
He was very helpful in reordering, and gave me a discount, with expedited build times and next day shipping.
These are my specs:

Kevin,
I am in the same boat as you. I have actually been waiting since November for my replacement. Like you, my order was canceled last month due to an "illegal configuration". When asked exactly what this meant I was told it was due to a SKU# being wrong, not an actual part. Every time Dell calls they claim they are waiting to hear back from the factory on what is causing the delay and that they will let me know in the next 48 hours. Each time they call, all they can tell me is that Alienwares are backed up.
