I feel like I am really falling behind everyone else.  Original order date of 1/27/10 and not shipped yet after 3 delays.  4th delay if not here Thursday.  I have been checking the specs of everybody who has been getting theirs shipped even when ordered after mine, and each one had some component mine has.  CPU, HDD, Video, etc.  It's hard to believe mine is due to parts shortage so I don't know what is up.

Did you have the media card reader or the 240?

Neither, but I think it may be the TV tuner

Yah i just got today.  it is great.  the lights flicker different colors every now and then, even when you turn it off on the sides.  i got this to play empire total war and steam is being a son of a xxxxx.  it plays everything else great.

2 months, probably because of the media card reader.  I hear they're embossed in gold leaf.  :)

I only had to be delayed once to cancel my order, with the money I got back I purchased a custom made computer with the same specs as the alienware I wish I would have read all the forum posts first before I ordered I would not have had the aggravation of dell customer service or the wait anxiety that really sucks

Yikes....that worked for me.  Mods need to step in and help 'cause it does pile into your message box.  Like the snow we've had this winter.

Lucky Me.....I am now on my FIFTH delay.  Ordered 1/14/10   with a new EDD of 3/11/10  

Well I got my Aurora yesterday and got it set up.  I'm  happy to say that so far I'm not having any of the problems with it that others with similar builds to me are having.  It's one screaming fast machine (they forgot to OC it, but so far I can't see why I even need to).  I have no weird fan noises, no problems with my ATI 5770 graphics cards, and no memory reporting problems. 

To all of you waiting, I know it really bites that they are being so slow getting you your systems...but when you get it you will love it.  Keep your chin up and keep on top of Dell....let them know you aren't happy.

I want to cancel my order as well but I cant stand to look at any of the other custom built systems cases.

My system doesnt have any of the parts that some people said will delay a system.

The worst part about the 1 month so far its taking to build the PC is that I already sent my little brother my old pc. So now here I am, self employed Graphic Designer with no PC to work on...go me... :(
