URGENT! Wireless adapter not found

Hi! I've just reformatted my Alienware M14x and have downloaded most of the drivers from the support site (some didnt work). Now i am unable to connect to the wireless network in my home. Currently i am only able to connect via cable (ethernet).

Which driver should i install or what should i do now?

Pls help. Thank you!

Hi Vicnick,

Thanks for your reply. Please check the steps below for finding out the wireless card model number:

  1. Click Start > Control Panel.
  2. Click the System and Security. Note: Select Category view if the System and Security icon is not visible.
  3. On System, click Device Manager.
  4. Click + Network Adapters to expand the section.
The Intel wireless adapter is listed. For example, Intel® WiFi Link 5300 AGN.
  5. Right-click the wireless adapter.
  6. Click Properties.
  7. Click the Driver tab to see the wireless adapter property sheet.
The driver version number is listed in the Driver Version field.

If you have any further queries, please feel free to contact us.

Thanks and Regards
