Updating Drive
I am interested in updating to a solid state drive. When looking at upgrades do all laptops use 2.5 inch drives and desktops 3.5 inch drives?

I am interested in updating to a solid state drive. When looking at upgrades do all laptops use 2.5 inch drives and desktops 3.5 inch drives?

Most solid state drives are 2.5 form factor and will fit in a laptop as well as a desktop. One usually needs a cage for a desktop but velcrow will do just fine.
