Upgrade M18x R2 Grafic Card

Hi I have a M18x R2 and want to improve my graphics card. What are the cards that are compatible with this alienware? Now I see that came the new Radeon RX480. As the new GPU step out the version "M" will I be able to put in the Alienware?

Sorry if my English is not so good. I am using a translator to write.

The RX 480m (or previously, R9 480m) is a mobile variant of the RX 460.

Also, it's very likely it won't come in a MXM form factor and it hasn't even been released yet), so no, you won't be able to upgrade to it..

AMD Polaris 10 and Polaris 11 GPUs Are Ready For Computex

First up, we have a report from Benchlife which mentions that AMD will officially showcase their Polaris GPU based products at Computex where they will also be introducing their Bristol Ridge APUs. In fact, the Bristol Ridge mobility notebooks will be bundled with the latest Radeon M400 series chips. The Bristol Ridge laptops will be shipping with several GPU solutions as they will be housing integrated, on-board and discrete graphics chips.

AMD Radeon Pro Duo

AMD believes they can win back some GPU market share with their highly efficient Polaris GPUs.

The discrete boards which will be shipping in the MXM form factor will be using modern GPUs like the Polaris 11 which uses the 4th generation GCN architecture. The on-board level graphics could be a mix of Polaris and existing GPUs while the integrated GPUs inside the Bristol Ridge APUs will feature the GCN 3.0 architecture and feature specifications similar to the ones featured on existing Carrizo lineup.
