Upgrading the Alienware x51

So i was thinking about upgrading my alienware x51 (GTX 645 Version w/ 180 Watt PSU), and was thinking about upgrading it to this card

Zotac NVIDIA GeForce GTX 750 Ti 2GB GDDR5 2DVI/Mini HDMI PCI-Express Video Card ZT-70601-10M

I was recommeneded the card by a friend and I was wondering if this card would work with the alienware x51. I if it does work I would buy the 300 watt psu and use that with this card.

So in other words, will this card work with my Alienware X51?

I wouldn't get that once. The cooling on it would make it hotter in the X51.

Get this one or this one.

Do remember to get the 330w PSU f you plan on getting the GTX 960.

The GPU should work, and it may be possible to use it with the 180w PSU.

If you buy the 330w PSU, you should be getting a better GPU (like the GTX 960).

Thanks for the help dude :). i really appreciate the confirmation, and I was originally gonna be like a gtx 960 or 970 but atm its just a bit to expensive for me, and i just wanna get a good card to run some games is all. Just a last question, would this card along with the i5 proccessor be able to run a game like Witcher 3 pretty well?

- thanks in advance

Given how demanding Witcher 3 is, I would think Medium 1080p for a playable experience; however, if you upgrade the CPU, you will have to get either the 240w PSU or 330w PSU or else W3 won't be so playable.

There are rumors that a GTX 950 will be released soon, so I would wait for a bit on a GPU. Either the GTX 950 has a low price point or you save more money when getting the GTX 750 ti.

Since i have 200 to spend i looked up a few 960s on amazon but Im not sure which one's will work with the computer, or if all of them will work. (sorry dont know much about upgrading)

- thanks again
