X51 R2 Fan making a loud sound 2 days old
I just received my new computer and the fan on the GPU is running loud from the time it starts up till you turn it off. It is like a ticking sound. I want to go in and reset the cards but think it might void the warranty. I am think the fans on the gpu is bad has anyone seen or heard of this.

Hi!
I recommend you check the GPU temperatures first to make sure the Video Card is not overheating. Use HWmonitor to see the temperatures on idle and during stress.
If it's not an overheating problem you can check if there's something inside that's interfering with the fans. Opening your computer won't void your warranty as long as there's no induced damage. Check the disassembly video here.
