new arrival X51 coming in 1 hour

Hello All

I will be receiving my X51 (ivy Bridge) in about an hour or so from FedEX, and wanted to kno the best way step wise approach to install my SSD (Samsung 256 GB) and Intel centrino 6250 w/ Bluetooth into my system and install the software

I currently have the SSD in my old laptop which i need to copy back to the original HD that came with the laptop.  I rather have the SSD in the new X51.  Need to know which program i can use to first copy current SSD content back to old laptop hardrive then erase and install the SSD into X51

I have bought the necessary cables ( power splitter LP4 to LP4/ SATA & 8 iinch SATA) for adding the SSD to the system without removing the original 3.5 inch 1 TB harddirve.

Also where is the best place have the SSD?  on top of optical drive?
