so I'll try posting here instead! - no factory image listed in Respawn?
Hi guys,
so I posted a thread about missing win 8 resource dvd and the chap replied saying to respawn and select the factory image..... I had tried this but there's no factory image, there's nothing listed at all to restore to. I've not since had a reply from him, obviosuly his support script doesn't include this sceanario lol
there is a recovery partition and if memeory serves its about 5gb. I've tried the options in respawn to create discs but it always says insert windows 8 disc (para-phrasing)
have any of you chaps had this issue? not best pleased with dell TBH. I'd prefer not to have to downgrade to win 7 then buy the win 8 update

Send me an e-mail to AWSocialMedia@dell.com and I'll try to get you the recovery disc you need.
It seems like the Respawn isn't making the connection with the recovery partition. Have you tried running AlienRespawn from outside Windows?
