Alienware 13 R3 (March 2017) AlienFX tester "no board detected"

I have just received my Alienware 13 R3 and performed what (in the context of the present discussion) amounts to a re-install of windows. After installing the Alienware Command Center, I encountered numerous "object reference" problems (i.e. NULL pointers) upon starting it. Running the AlienFX tester showed "no board detected". Any idea? I have tried power drain without any effect. Keyboard and touchpad lights are the default cyan color. I'd appreciate any input. Thanks.

Problem solved! For some reason the "Intel USB 3 Hub" device was disable in Device Manager. After enabling it, AlienFX works! Also the former bluetooth issue is resolved too. So, the MIO and Qualcomm/Atheros devices are via USB. I was pointed in this direction because flash drives weren't detected when plugged in :-)
