15R3 with Alienware Graphics Amplifier not working
I did a clean install on windows 10 pro on my alienware 15 r3. Plugged it into the amplifier which has a msi gtx 1080. Worked after first boot and external monitors hooked up to the amplifier worked. After restarting the machine, getting BSOD with code "critical process died". This happens turning the pc on with or without connecting amplifier. Any suggestions are appreciated!

I had an alienware 13 laptop that I used the graphics amplifier with, I just upgraded to the Alienware 15 r3 laptop but noticed the port where plugging in the G Amp does not fit properly in the port... do you know if I need a new cord or what the issue is? I also ordered the Alienware 27in Gaming monitor, but has not arrived yet. just wanted to ask to make sure i know what i am doing! thx
