17 R4, entering BIOS on external monitor
Hello, my internal laptop screen suffered an accident and so I bought an external monitor. The BIOS, however, is pretty much inacessible as the system doesn't display it on my external monitor, only my unusable laptop screen. Any help is appreciated, thanks in advance.

@Nomutra the only way I've found to get video to display on the external display is to start the system with the lid closed, but that requires a docking station that has a Power button to control the system so that you can power it on with the lid closed. Other than that, you can try keeping the lid open only enough to press the Power button so that you can immediately close it after powering it on, but I don't know if that will work. Sorry!
