Alienware 17 R5 Graphics Amplifier Issue

I have an issue with my 17 R5 and the GA.  Recently put a new RTX 2060 Super in the GA and everything worked fine.  When I removed my R5 from the GA, my laptop screen will not work.  I see the boot screen and even the backgroud will load (prior to password enter), then it blacks out and I can't see/do anything.

I attempted to plug an external monitor in using HDMI and that doesn't show anything either.

Suggestions? 

The card in the R5 is a GTx 1070.
