I have the same problem with my r3. Black screen on start up from time to time. I have to hold power button to switch off. Then screen comes back on next start up. I'm worried if one day its gonna stay black permanently... :/ Please let me know if You found any solution.

Try by connecting the system to an external Monitor to see if you get image.

Hey @Alienware-Eimy. no I tried that a couple of times and still a black screen and nothing shows up
