Alienware r5 warranty

Hello everyone. I want to buy a new r5 model from a reseller (since you can’t buy directly from dell in my country) 

So I was given a service tag and the problem is: there is no information about warranty. The laptop was send 11th May and I saw pictures of a package. The seller doesn’t give me a cirtain answer about warranty. 

What should I do? I can order it and return if there is any problems but I can check it for an hour max. Or just forget about it and buy something else?

Hi @AlmWiz,

It is normal that the warranty will not be shown until the registration is made, but the only one who can answer that is the seller, we have no information on how the process works in your region.

Skip it - and buy elsewhere.  And make sure you realize that anything you do buy will be supported only at the seller level in your location -- meaning you'll have no support from Dell if something goes wrong.  Carefully evaluate the reputation of any vendor you plan to purchase a system from.
