I have a G7 7500 with NVIDIA 2070 gpu. Is it possible for me to upgrade the gpu? If not, why? If so, how?

The GPU cannot be replaced or upgraded - it's soldered to the system board. Further it appears the GPU you have is the best one offered in this model, so any upgrade means a new system.
