All drivers must come from Dell since they are customized by Dell for your exact model. Do not install Intel or AMD drivers from their websites. Go to Dell Downloads for your model and get the correct drivers for your laptop.

Hi,

thanks for reply. Alfortunately for my specification there is no Dell driver for AMD Radeon 7970m... just found two of them:

Nvidia Graphics Driver

nVIDIA GeForce GTX 660M/GT650M/GTX 680M/GTX 675M Graphics

From beginning i have 7970m configured and it worked all that years... every year i upgraded AMD drivers and it worked without problems. Even with Windows 10 it worked (no Dell drivers dedicated for Windows 10 for my alienware, cant even choose from List this OS...

But the one good information i got from Your post is that probably i dont have damaged graphic card, which i thought is damaged here (or mainboard)

Ok so i went your way, downloaded ALL dell drivers dedicated for Windows 8 for alienware. Format system, installed Win 8, installed all these drivers:

Application Command Center X6VV1_WN_2.8.10.0_A02 (which did not work)

Application Command Center 8D9J2_WN_2.8.8.0_A01 (worked)

Application OSD WD6WD c0.32.0.7_A02

APPLICATION C8JN9_WN32_3.1.1002.0_A00

Video_Driver_ Intel HD 4000 97WPF_WN_v9.17.10.2817_A00

I did not installed these (nvidia drivers...):

Gfx_NV_A01_Win8_307.17_X7NHG_setup_ZPE

Video_Driver_ GeForce GTX765m NVidia 390DM_WN_9.18.13.3165_A02

What happened:

intel HD 4000 works fine

AMD Radeon HD 7970M (Microsoft Corporation - WDD v1.20) not working (code 52 no digital signature)

I also tried to install AMD drivers:

14-4-mobility-win7-win8-win8.1-64-dd-ccc-whql Graphic_AMD_7970_Win8_driver_Gfx_AMD_A01_9.002_CFJ0W_setup_ZPE amd-catalyst-15.5beta-64bit-win8.1-may27

Graphic_AMD_Win8.1 4_A00_Setup-00DP4_ZPE

radeon-software-crimson-relive-17.7.1-win8.1-64bit-july17

Every installation of CCC or AMD drivers = black screen, needed to safe mode and disable /uninstall AMD drivers.... Still no idea what to do, checked a lot of forum topics, found one where someone wrote "GPU is dead" or make a test putting it into owen to 200 C for few minutes.... How to check that GPU is dead? shouldnt BIOS give some "BIP BIP BIP" for that?? and i have none... :/

PLEASE HELP :/
