Problem with my video card

hello, i have a m15x alienware notebook Intel Core i7 740QM Quad Core Processor, 1.73GHz (2.93GHz Turbo Mode, 6M Cache) with this video card: 1024 MB ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5730. Is it possible to change the video card for a more updated one? and what type of card is used and where can I buy it. Thank you

It's an MXM III video card, but this system is old enough (and those are never produced in large quantity) that you'll likely be looking for a used/refurbished card.

One source:  parts-people (link below) -- or EBay or similar.

The M15x can take up to the GTX 970M or the 4GB version of the 980M (which can be hard to find).

You will just need a modded Nvidia driver to run the card, which isn't too hard. Head over to the forum at NotebookReview as there are still a few guys over there who can walk you through the process.
