M17x R4, GTX 1070 upgrade?

Hi everyone,

I'm planning upgrading my old M17x R4 with the GTX 1070 card. It has the 3630QM processor and the GTX 660M video card with the 1920x1080 60Hz display. I'm  getting a little worried about about my success? I've read on a different forum that the 10 series cards will only work the 120Hz display.

Does anyone know different?
