Dell prefers to use Intel CPU processors, but the Alienware m15 R3 10th Generation Intel Core is not as fast as its competition and Intel are losing their market share. Intel has publicly admitted their mistake and allow their CPUs to run up to a maximum of 100°C, but this sudden change did not allow for timely upgrade of OEM laptop cooling systems. Dell has reached out to me via pm and is arranging to have a tech come and put in a new heat sync.
