"DS: Random keys not working"
I've got an AW x17 R2 that for whatever reason, randomly has some keys that will stop working at semi-random times and am completely out of ideas on this end.

Please contact Dell and request warranty assistance. You should visit your online Dell account to create Service Request so that Dell Support officially knows that there is a problem to fix. When Dell Technical Support requests online session, agree so that they can use their diagnostic tools to fix software issues and/or order replacement parts for installation.

The latest system BIOS should have a fix for the intermittent keyboard issues. Make sure that you have the latest BIOS version installed.
Go onto the Dell Support page, enter your private Service Tag and download and install the latest BIOS for your system.
