Removing a Host from Appsync without losing the copies.
I am trying to remove an Exchange host host from AppSync that has snapshot copies. I need to keep the copies on the VNX array in case a restore is needed. Once it is removed I will be adding the same host to a new AppSync server \.
The issue I am getting is when I try to remove and deinstall the the server it is giving the error that copies still exist.
Is there any way around this without deleting all of the snapshots?

Hi,
Unfortunately it is not possible to remove the Exchange host without first deleting the copies. However, it is possible to remove the copies from AppSync only while keeping the copies on the array, and then remove the Exchange host.
Please open a Service Request under the AppSync product for assistance with this.
