Avamar backup failures monitoring using BMC ProactiveNet
Hi All,
We have given MIB file to BMC Team. Created two SNMP Trap Profile for database clients. Whenever database backup failing for these two profile, I am getting emails from Avamar (SNMP Trap Profile - Email Notifications). BMC Team also configured emails upon backup failures (they used Avamar MIB in BMC) but we are getting emails for all backup failures, not only for SQL and DB2. I think they configured SNMP request which is pulling all the information from Avamar. Can someone help me? What to do?

Frist thought is to go look at the Profiles in Avamar, and see if any of them are setup to send email for failures.

I checked , verified. Only two valid SNMP trap Profile.
