Avamar client activation using cmd line

Is it possible to activate a new Avamar client using command line from the new client?

Hello Wim,

Yes, you can run 'avregister' from a Unix type client or 'avregister.bat' from a Windows client

Usage: avregister MCSNAME [DOMAIN]

You could give a try with mccli syntax  # mccli client --help  # mccli client activate --help  # mccli client activate --name=XYZ --domain=/NAME_DOMAIM  Sent from my iphone

Hi,

If we want to re-activate the client,the below command will be usefull.

mccli activate client --domain=/ (domain name) --name=(client name)

we use avregister.bat to activate client on Production

___ \avs\bin\avregister.bat "grid adress" _ "domain Name"
