Avamar config checker will not run

Does anyone have any info about what prevents the Avamar Config Checker from running?

We have installed it on separate Windows 2008R2 and 2012 servers, and it does not run on any of them.

We get an unhandled exception error within a Microsoft .NET framework dialog box (will try to upload the actual display), with "index is outside the bounds of the array".

Customer is running .NET 4.5 - not sure if it needs to be newer?

If we choose to continue anyway, we get a screen that is asking us to "Set Parameter Header" and one of the sections is asking us for the number of Clariions we have, when all I'm trying to do is check the configuration of a server that I am trying to install Avamar for Sharepoint on.

Anyone seen this before? All comments/feedback appreciated - thanks.
