Avamar image backup get failed with error code : 10052
Greetings ......
The avamar image backup multiple time failed with error code : 10051 and below is the error details :
avvcbimage Error <16279>: vSphere Task failed (snapshot error=35): 'Virtual machine is configured to use a device that prevents the snapshot operation: Device '' is a SCSI controller engaged in bus-sharing.'. (Log #1)
avvcbimage Error <14635>: Snapshot 'Avamar-14478984269d7368c2ce129f1679966d185aaaf501cb145d64' creation for VM ' ' task creation encountered a problem (Log #1)
avvcbimage FATAL <0000>: [IMG0003] The VMX ' ' could not be snapshot. (Log #1)
avvcbimage Error <0000>: [IMG0009] createSnapshot: snapshot creation failed (Log #1)
What could be the cause and what action need to be take to resolve this .

Hi Sam,
Please check from the logs if the VMs disks can be backed up. You will find at the beginning of the logs some info regarding VM's disks.
avvcbimage Info <> : WorkOrder Disk Info:
Prior Disk '': file(base):'[datastore] VM's folder/VM's name.vmdk', backItUp=1 or 0
If the value of backItUp=0 The VM's should meet snapshot requirements for a snapshot can be taken.
