Backup V5 client to V4.1 Datastore
We have a V5 client and when I try to do a backup to a v4.1 datastore it fails saying no directory or files selected but it doesn't allow you to select. I've tried putting it in a new policy and reactivating but neither works.

In order for this to work (v5 client backing up to v4.1 datastore), the client catalog must be upgraded on the Avamar utility node.

Hi
We also do backups with v5 clients to our v4.1 datastore and it work without chaning anything on the dataset side.
I called EMC to integrate the v5 clients on our datastore and from then it worked. Maybe they change some settings on the datastore, enabling v5 clients to talk with v4.1 datastore.
