Best way to point VMware proxy to new Avamar Grid

Question

We are performing a root-to-root replication from our old Avamar grid to a new grid.  When the replication is done, what is the best way to point the existing proxy VMs to the new grid?  It looks like the easiest way would be to reboot each proxy with a console open, hit return then prompted if you want to re-register and then enter the new grid's hostname.  Is that correct?

that's what i do, i find it to be the easiest option, unless you want to deploy brand new proxies.

You can also rename and re-IP the New grid with the Old Name and IP.
