Can Avamar Enterprise Manager be accessed in "read only " mode?
We have a group that is responsible for monitoring our 2-server Avamar 5.0.x environment. It would be nice for them to have access to the dashboard and reports in EM, for a quick "GUI" status check every day. Is this possible, or is EM limited to be used by an administrative account?

EM can only be accessed by an administrative account at the root domain.

From the administration menu, in the MCS GUI, create an activity monitor user.
Then, use this activity monitor credentials to log in the EM web page.
The user manages to login and view the dashboard.
If this activity monitor user tries to perform any activity, the EM will return an access error.

Thanks for the response/suggestion.
We already had a user with the Activity Operator role, and when I use this user to log into EM, I receive a message in red letters, below the login box, that states - "Authentication failure. User login failure." Not to mention the fact that at the top of the screen, it states "The page you requested is only available to registered System Administrators." Am I missing something here?
